The Jeep brand returns to Tignes, this time as a Premium Partner of the second European edition of the world's premier winter actions sports event - the Winter X Games. The event will take place Wednesday through Friday, March, 16th to 18th, in Tignes, which is one of the biggest ski domains in the French Alps.
Ranked as an institution, the X Games are the reference of the extreme sports events. Starting with summer editions, skateboarding, BMX and roller, the winter editions give space to snowboarding and skiing. Since 2002, the Winter X Games are organized in Aspen, Colorado in the United States. After hosting nearly 70 000 European fans last year during the very successful first edition, the Winter X-Games Europe will return to Tignes. The world's top competitors will attend and fight for victory during this impressive three day extreme ski and snowboard freestyle event.
When we speak about Winter X Games, we think about Jeep. For the last ten years, Jeep has been the exclusive automotive sponsor of this extraordinary event. Crossing the Atlantic, the Winter X Games did not loose their official vehicle partner. In Tignes, the all new Jeep products will be presented by being on display around the whole X Games area: from X-Fest to Competition site while 15 other Jeep will be in action in the entire resort driving athletes, Media and VIP guests. Starting with the legendary Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited which has just been renewed, there will be the all-new Grand Cherokee and new Compass to complete the brand family. This partnership helps and reinforces the support of the Jeep brand for the Winter X Games on both sides of the Atlantic.
