Cars are always well dressed with YOKOHAMA
The German City of Essen is staging a fashion show with a big difference at the start of June. On the occasion of the world’s leading tyre trade fair on the 1st to 4th of June, the Japanese manufacturer YOKOHAMA presents the tyres from this year's summer and winter collections in style on the catwalk. Colour-wise, the company is staying faithful to the restrained grey and black tones of the industry, but on stand 110 in hall 3, they are offering a host of new, exciting lines in profile and rubber compounds.
Like the especially quiet and environmentally friendly Trendsetter dB Super E-spec, which is made of 80% orange oil and renewable raw materials. One further strategic development on classic YOKOHAMA strengths is the C.drive 2, considered as recommendable by the ADAC, the German motorists' association. It carries on the inheritance of its successful first-generation predecessor in an all-round improved form. Beside the range for cars, YOKOHAMA also presents a truck and off-road section. In the forefront of this year's tyres are above all the
themes of pollution control, e.g. the Zenvironment commercial vehicle programme, and optimising fuel efficiency.
The company cordially invites the international public to its lounge-sitting room for detailed discussion on tyres. They maintain a very close and friendly approach to business. The public gets not only competent advice and high quality service, but a range which leaves no wish unfulfilled. YOKOHAMA has a special tyre available for the fuel economy car in addition to those for touring and racing vehicles or tip-up trucks.
